1/8 (3mm) Super-Refined MDF - 12" x 12"

MDF Boards of Domestic, USA sourced MDF.

11.75” X 11.75” X .125”

This is meant to be a rough product not a finished product. There may be markings on the edge from the lumber yard. Since it is cut by hand some boards may not be 100% square and may have uneven saw marks on the edges. Our goal though is to provide the absolute best quality to our customers.

SAMPLE SHEET:
One 4”x6” sheet for test cutting prior to ordering a large order.

FREE TEST CUT SHEET:
Each order receives a small test cut sheet in addition to their order (approximately 4"X6") to adjust settings to their machine.

SANDED VS. “NOT” SANDED:
This super-refined MDF is very smooth. Buying “Not Sanded” is still a very smooth finish, as pictured in the photos. Sanded is offered as an option for those that like to sand their MDF with a 220 grit sand paper, but don’t want to have to deal with the harmful MDF dust OR just don’t have access to an orbital sander. Sanded MDF sheets are sanded lightly with an orbital sander using 220 grit sand paper on two sides.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE:
I do NOT ship to PO Boxes or APO, and I only ship to contiguous US states, unless arranged with me prior.

-Orders placed on Monday ship on Tuesday.
-Orders placed on Tuesday ship on Thursday.
-Orders placed on Wednesday ship on Thursday.
-Orders placed on Thursday ship on Monday.
-Orders placed on Friday through Sunday, ship on Monday.
Federal holidays may cause this to change.
(Due to the nature of shipping MDF, it is possible that an order may be delivered with minor damage to the edges. Minor edge damage does not meet our criteria for a refund/replacement, as the material is still usable 100%. Each box is insured for $100, any damage that causes the material to be not usable is covered under the UPS insurance.)

CUT SETTINGS:
Cut: 200 / full
Score: 300 / 40
Engrave: 640 / 70 / 270 LPI

These settings were tested with CLEAN OPTICS and FANS with no masking on a Glowforge Basic.

For Pro or 45W Plus, full power is hotter than for the Basic or 40W Plus, so for cuts on those machines you may need to increase the speed or decrease the power.

For cutting / scoring with masking, power will need to be increased slightly.

Engraving with masking is not recommended due to the sticky mess it can create and the loss of fine details in your artwork.
